Sylvan Warring Studios (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you book an appointment on this website, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.
When you book an appointment, we ask for your name, email address, and phone number, so we can identify you and get in touch about your booking. You can also leave an optional note for Sylvan — anything you write there is stored along with your appointment. We also store which service, date, and time you booked, and, if you reschedule or cancel later, that history. Your browser also receives two small cookies: one remembers which language you've selected, the other protects the booking form from being submitted by malicious scripts. Neither is used for advertising or tracking, and neither requires your consent under Swiss law, since both are strictly necessary for the site to work.
We use your name, email, and phone number to confirm your appointment, to reach you if something changes (for example a scheduling conflict), and so Sylvan knows who's coming in and can prepare accordingly. If you provide an email address, you'll also receive a private link by email that lets you view, reschedule, or cancel your own appointment without needing an account.
Your booking details are visible to Sylvan Warring, who runs this studio and manages its appointments. We don't sell your data or share it with advertisers. Emails are sent through our email provider (Google/Gmail) purely to deliver them to you; our web hosting provider processes standard technical logs (like IP addresses) as part of running the server, as any website host does.
We keep appointment records, including cancelled ones, for our administrative records. If you'd like your data removed sooner, just contact us (details below) and we'll delete it, unless we're required to keep certain records for a legitimate reason.
You can ask us at any time what data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also reschedule or cancel your own appointment yourself, at any time, using the link sent to you by email. To exercise any of these rights, just contact us using the details below.
We may update this page occasionally to reflect changes to the website. The date above shows when it was last revised.
